CertainTeed Main Street™ vinyl siding stands out as a top brand in the market by incorporating several unique features. Rigidform™ feature adds a bend to the nail hem to stiffen the panel and add more wind resistance. DuraLock® feature incorperates a larger teardrop shaped locking flap. The Studfinder™ installation system helps you find 16″ centered studs to nail to by adding a letter code to each nail slot. Just nail in the same lettered slot to find the stud.

The consensus is that Certainteed MainStreet™ vinyl siding is a good looking quality product that stacks up well when compared to other siding brands. There are several instances of CertainTeed standing behind their product and honoring the warranty when appropriate. There are a few reports of sagging and melting but these seem to be few in relation to the number of installations and consumer comments. Any product is bound to have a few problems from time to time. Our overall rating for this 4 stars.
